I have been card making for 27 years and been doing crafts of all types for many more than that. I discovered Alota rubber stamps back in 1999 and think I have been making sample cards for them ever since. I love to try every technique there is out there. I hate to be told that something can not be done, cause it tends to make me try hard to prove them wrong. I get addicted to things very easy that is why i tend to make the card making the thing to get addicted to as it is less harmful. I love the attention that is why in october 2006 i started a blog to show my cards I am making , which soon turned into me making lessons to help people with there card making. I have written 6 lesson CD's which are sold by alota rubber stamps, which I am very proud of. Back in late 2000 alota rubber stamps came out with wonderful teabag stamps , which if I had to pick my favorite alota stamp all the teabag stamps would be it . I´m a teacher of sociology and psychology at a upper secondary school. I have three grown-up sons and two grandchildren , Emil and Klara, they have given my life a new dimension! I like to do a lot of things, from interpreting the meanings of dreams to driving snowmobile! I´ve always loved handicraft, lacemaking, weaving, knitting! I live in Australia with my wonderfully supportive husband and have two adult daughters.I have been stamping for approx 20 years but was doing other forms of card making prior to this. I fell in love with alota rubber stamps way back in 1999 after seeing them in a rubber stamping magazine and of course I had to order them, since then I have been hooked! Im married to my best friend :) his name is Jerry. We have been married for over 18years, and together for 20. We have 3 kids, 3 cats, and 1 dog, and we now live in Utah. Of course the cats (the boys) are mine, I am a cat lover, and the rest of my family loves dogs...LOL Our kids are Girl 18, boy almost 16, and girl almost 13. The dog is Chloe, and she is going to be 4 Dec 20th. I was born and raised in California, and so was Jerry. We have only lived in Utah for the last 3 years. We moved here due to my in-laws moving here. I do have my mom, and my brother here as well. I use to design scrapbook pages back in 1996, and did that for several years. I then started designing cards a little over 2 maybe 2 1/2 years ago. Ive been hooked ever since. I do love designing my cards, and spend several hours in my craft room, sometimes designing, and sometimes cleaning all my messes...LOL I love to give my cards to family and friends, I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them. alota card designs                designer's website Marie Carlsson  My name is Marie and I live I Sweden, I have always had a strong interest in creating with color’s … I has painted pottery for many years but since September 2007 have I started Stamping and Scrapbooking. I have always had a fascination for paper so it is strange that I have not started sooner!?! Cut paper and glue have I a bin doing since I was a small girl, but never called it scrapbooking before. I wanted to paint with watercolors and when I then thought I was worthless at drawing stamping was a grate way. Now I have started to draw and discovered that I am not so bad at it that I thought. Regardless of that, I am addicted to rubber stamps… My other interests are my family, wool, audio books, paper craft, pottery painting, cookbook, American football and my team is the STEELERS! I am married and have two children a girl born 1998 and a boy born 2000. The boy has Down’s syndrome. My name is Andrea Pierron and I live in gorgeous Southern California with my awesome husband, John and my beautiful daughter, Lauren. Together, we have several critters running around here that we adore, as well. My love of paper crafting started about 10 years ago when I started scrapbooking. I have since moved on to making cards and I LOVE IT! I am so addicted. I started coloring stamped images in 2008 and have been hooked ever since. My other interests include reading, hiking, biking, going out to dinner, (what girl doesn’t love to do that??) watching movies, cooking, helping out in my daughter’s class at school, and above all, I love to spend time with my family. I am so blessed to be married to my very best friend and to have a healthy, happy child. I could not ask for anything more. I am thrilled to be able to be a part of the Alota Rubber Stamps Design Team. There are so many wonderful stamps and the selection is amazing. I am so thrilled that Helene picked me for the Alota Design Team. I share my life with hubby(more then 26 years) and our English Cocker Spaniel Seven who really is a handfull of trouble. I still believe we should have called her Tinkerbell. That fits her much more. In 2007 I saw some blogs with the most amazing cards made with Stamps and all kinds of embellies and knew right away that I wanted to do something like that. I was at that moment looking for a new hobby as I had to quit my PolymerClay addiction due Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on both hands. Didnt wanted to go thru a 4th operation so I decided to stop it and search for something else that would not be so hard for my hands. And I am enjoying my Stamps and Papers ever since I started working with them in 2007. I learned alot in the last 3 years and am still learning alot. My latest addition is my precious Copic Airbrush System. WOW what you can do with that. Oh did I mention that I am known as the Challengeaholic by my bloggingbuddies ;) ah well there are far more worst things to be called hahahhhaa I just love to join challenges.
